Boxer Pedro Sosa Jr., 20-year-old, the 2011 National Golden Gloves champion is fighting for his life due to the car accident that cause his sister Jennifer Sosa's death. Sunday morning, Pedro Sosa Jr was driving with his sister Jennifer Sosa traveling east on the cross Bronx Expressway about 5:45am using their Chevy Venture while the temperatures hovered near freezing that turned out the road surfaces treacherous. The news report states that both Pedro and Jennifer Sosa got out and walked out of their car to check the other cars and they were hit by the another motorist. Due to the impact when they got slammed, the collision caused them to fly off and fall 75 feet from the overpass.
Pedro Sosa Jr was rushed to the Jocabi Medical Center in Bronx while his sister is dead and underwent surgery to stop bleeding in his brain. Families and friends of Pedro Sosa Jr was shocked to what happened to him and sister Jennifer Sosa. Prayers are welcome for Pedro Sosa's operations and recovery.
